Product Description
The GenSpin genomic DNA purification kit by Whatman produces high-quality, PCR-ready, single-stranded DNA from 5 to 50µl whole blood or cultured cells in as little as 25 minutes. Simple protocol incorporates FTA technology, which lyses cell and nuclear membranes on contact. Once bound to the FTA filter matrix, DNA can be stored for weeks at room temperature prior to purification. Cellular debris and proteins are removed by washing with GenSpin buffer and TE buffer using a centrifuge. The purified DNA is released from the filter matrix by heat elution and is ready for immediate PCR amplification. Each kit includes: 50 DNA isolation filter baskets in 2ml microcentrifuge tubes, 50 2ml microcentrifuge tubes, 110ml GenSpin buffer, and 25ml nuclease-free water. 50 Tests/Kit. Whatman #: WB120005.
