Product Description
This The General 30000 Unground Flanged series single-row ball bearing is an open bearing, and has a full-ball complement, flange, and normal clearance rating. It is suitable for applications supporting moderate loads and speeds of up to 1,500 revolutions per minute (RPM). The raceways are filled with a full complement of precision steel balls to provide a higher radial load carrying capacity than ball bearings with standard cages. Its open design facilitates lubricating the bearing in place and dissipating heat. An external flange on the outer ring provides easier mounting and axial positioning in the housing than straight bearings. The bearing has a normal radial internal clearance designation, making it suitable for applications where the load and speeds do not result in thermal expansion. This clearance provides latitude for self-realignment and compensates for static and dynamic alignment errors. This unground flanged ball bearing is for use in commercial and industrial applications including appliances, displays, business machine, toys, and conveyor rollers, among others.
