Product Description
Also known as recessed wedge anchors, these anchors provide consistent holding power when used to hang threaded rod from overhead concrete decks no matter how deep the holes are. When installed, the wedge-shaped internal plug expands to hold the anchor in place. To install, first thread the anchor, a nut, and a washer onto a threaded rod (nut, washer, and rod not included). Then use a hammer to drive the anchor into a drilled hole (the anchor body can be recessed) and tighten the nut. Anchors are zinc-plated 12L14 steel. They're UL listed, FM approved, and meet GSA specifications. Ultimate tension and shear strength are based on tests in 4,000 psi concrete. Class 2B thread fit.
