Product Description
The Merit Brass blind plate flange is a class 150 stainless steel 316/316L pipe fitting used for closing the end of pipes, valves, or equipment nozzles. This blind plate flange has bolt holes to connect to flat surfaces or other flanges. Made of stainless steel 316L, the lower carbon content of this flange ensures corrosion resistance. This class 150 fitting meets steel 316 strength standards, 316L extra-low carbon standards, and specifications ASTM A182 and ASME SA182 for quality assurance. Class is a standard relating to tolerance, construction, dimension, and wall thickness, but it is not a direct measurement of maximum working pressure.
