Product Description
Felt is used in many applications, including sound absorption, vibration deadening, filtration, cushioning, thermal insulation, wicking, gaskets and washers. Type SAE F-5 Felt (white) has a minimum wool content of 95 Percent, and is suggested for use where a firm, resilient felt is required. Type SAE F-13 is a Gray combination of 75 Percent wool and 25 Percent fiber, recommended when abrasion and wear are not factors of special importance.
