Product Description
This Siemens 3SE5 232-1LC05 mechanical position switch comes as a complete unit with a 31 mm wide plastic enclosure, one NO and two NC snap action contacts, one yellow and one green LED, and a rounded plunger tip, and is suitable for use in plant and building automation systems. The snap action normally-closed (NC) and normally-open (NO) contacts switch from closed to open and open to closed at the same time, regardless of the actuating speed, and the rounded plunger forcibly opens the NC contacts for use in safety circuits. The two 24 VDC LEDs indicate switch system status and alert users to issues. The rounded plunger actuator tip can be rotated around the enclosure axis in increments of 22.5 degrees. This mechanical position switch conforms to the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) EN 50047 standard for dimensions and mechanical data and the EN 50041 standard for quality assurance, and is suitable for use in applications in which there is push-type activation.
