The Rubbermaid Commercial storage container is a round, injection-molded, polypropylene container that has a removable bail for carrying. It is free of BPA (Bisphenol A) to address food safety concerns raised by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other organizations, and it meets National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 2 for use in food handling and processing. Polypropylene is more rigid than polyethylene and is resistant to certain chemicals. The container is semi-clear so that contents can be identified at a glance. Two or more containers can be nested for compact storage. The container measures 14" high and 13-1/8" in diameter and has a capacity of 22 quarts. It is dishwasher-safe and resists temperatures from -40 to 150 degrees F. It is suitable for use with a snap-on lid (sold separately).
