HDPE is stronger than low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and resists moisture and certain chemicals. The hinged lid flips open fully and locks against the trash can. An integrated handle and 8-inch rubber wheels allow for maneuverability, and the wheels are inset to help prevent damage to walls and doorways. A molded-in axle retainer adds strength. Rounded corners and smooth contours enable the trash can to be wiped clean. An ultraviolet (UV) stabilizer helps prevent fading and discoloring.
