The Rubbermaid Commercial Brute garbage can is a round, polyethylene utility container with a reinforced rim, rounded handles, and venting channels for removing full disposable trash liners (sold separately). Polyethylene weighs less than aluminum or steel and resists cracking. This trash can has a reinforced rim for added strength, ProTouch handles for a rounded grip, and a double-ribbed base for stability. Four integrated venting channels reduce the amount of force needed to remove a full liner. Four liner cinches help keep disposable liners securely in place and make waste collection more efficient (liners sold separately). Molded base grips on the bottom enable the container to be picked up and emptied. The container measures 31-1/2" high and 24" in diameter and has a capacity of 44 gallons. It meets National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 2 for use in food handling and processing and NSF/ANSI Standard 21 as a thermoplastic garbage can intended for the indoor or outdoor storage of refuse. It is suitable for use with accessories including a lid, a top, caddies, dollies, and disposable liners (each sold separately).
