The Rope King DBP-1450 diamond braided poly rope measures 1/4" in diameter by 50' long with an SWL limit of 90 lb., and is suitable for use in boating, water skiing, wake boarding, camping, anchoring, docking, and ladder placement. Poly (polypropylene) floats and is resistant to water, mold, and rot. The diamond braided construction is stronger than solid braid. This rope has an SWL (safe working load) limit of 90 lb. It comes in assorted colors of red, yellow, blue, and green.

Fibrous ropes used for pulling and lifting are made of natural and/or synthetic fiber strands. A combination of characteristics, including material, construction, diameter, length, and breaking strength, give each rope its performance capability. Fibrous rope materials are selected for properties such as strength, flotation, elasticity, and resistance to abrasion, ultraviolet light, and chemical compounds. Diamond braided rope consists of eight, 12, 16, 24, 32, or 48 strands woven together in an over-and-under pattern, with or without a core. The type without a core is suitable for splicing. Diamond braided rope is generally stronger than solid braided rope, but not as strong as twisted rope or double braid. The breaking strength for fibrous rope is the strength at which new rope will fail under a stationary load. Breaking strength is not considered safe working load (SWL) limit.
