With PRO's Micro-Homogenizing Package, Premium Version, which includes the Bio-Gen PRO200 hand-held homogenizer, two PRO Quick Connect Generators (5 x 75mm and 7 x 75mm) and Bio-Gen PRO200 stand assembly, volumes as small as 0.03 ml can be hand-free, mechanically homogenized in a matter of seconds. Whether gently mixing, extracting RNA/DNA or destroying the cell wall, this package can effectively and efficiently process your sample. This setup is ideal for processing in 0.5ml, 1.5ml, 2ml or 5ml tubes. The Bio-Gen PRO200 homogenizer is a hand-held 144 watt homogenizer with variable speed from 5,000 to 35,000 rpm. A separate ON/OFF switch conveniently allows for the slide switch speed control to remain at your ideal homogenizing speed. The two PRO Quick Connect Generators included in the Premium Version of the Micro-Homogenizing Package are a flat bottom 5 x 75mm and a saw tooth 7 x 75mm generator. The saw tooth design makes the 7mm generator ideal for processing tougher samples. PRO Quick Connect Generators are manufactured out of 316 stainless steel for the utmost in chemical compatibility. They are precision crafted with a very narrow clearance between the inner rotating shaft and outer tube/chamber, which allows for quick, effective and repetitive processing, meaning you will get the results you want each and every time. PRO Quick Connect Generators are designed to be anti-foaming in design and are very easy to take apart and clean between samples, a simple unscrewing of the top set screw allows for disassembly. Appropriate cleaning procedures include chemically cleaning, autoclaving and flaming. Complete replacement parts for the generator are available, thereby extending the life of this valuable piece of equipment. The Bio-Gen PRO200 stand assembly features a 7 x 10 inch vinyl-padded base with 24 inch post and easy-lift mechanism which allows you to raise and lower the Bio-Gen PRO200 homogenizer in and out of the sample during homogenization.
