The PRO Scientific PRO-576000-00VSOS-4P is a digital, orbital shaker with programmable variable speed input in increments of 1 rem per minute (rpm), from 20 to 330 rpm, and rpm and elapsed time display, and it works with a 115V power source. A shaker is a device used by researchers, professionals, and hobbyists to provide movement to shake liquids and solutions in lab applications such as cell and tissue culture, hybridization, staining, and detaining gels.
This shaker has a 19 mm (0.75 inch) circular, orbital shaking motion for smooth, uniform, and reproducible mixing and vortexing motion control. Input time increments can be set from 1 minute to 999 minutes, and the device has continuous mode operation to allow for extended experiments and overnight runs. An indicator beeps at the end of the cycle. The unit provides a pulse operation mode, for short processing runs. Time remaining and rpm are displayed on a digital LED screen. The PRO-576000-00VSOS-4P has programmable memory to store up to four programs, including a recall function,. The unit provides quiet operation with a brushless motor.
