Product Description
The grade F7 gray adhesive-backed felt sheet is made of minimum 80% wool and is a medium-firm, medium-density fabric commonly used for sealing and noise reduction. The sheet has an adhesive backing for surface mounting and is rated for use in temperatures ranging from 30 to 150 degrees F. A density of 12.24 lb./sq. yd. at 1" thick helps provide resistance to abrasion and wear, with medium vibration absorption. It is medium firm, which means it is rated to require 6 pounds per square inch (psi) of pressure to achieve 10% deflection. A tensile strength of 250 psi helps provide resistance to stress and deformation. It meets the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J314 standard for industrial felt.
