Product Description
The grade F5 white adhesive-backed felt sheet is made of minimum 95% wool and is a medium-firm, medium-density fabric commonly used for wicking, sealing, wiping, and damping. The sheet has an adhesive backing for surface mounting and is rated for use in temperatures ranging from 30 to 150 degrees F. A density of 12.24 lb./sq. yd. at 1" thick helps provide resistance to abrasion and wear, with medium vibration absorption. It is medium firm, which means it is rated to require 6 pounds per square inch (psi) of pressure to achieve 10% deflection. A tensile strength of 400 psi helps provide resistance to stress and deformation. It meets the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J314 standard for industrial felt.
