Product Description
The grade F3 gray adhesive-backed felt sheet is made of minimum 85% wool and is a firm, high-density fabric commonly used for vibration absorption, wicking, sealing, cushioning, and gasketing. The sheet has an adhesive backing for surface mounting and is rated for use in temperatures ranging from 30 to 150 degrees F. A density of 16 lb./sq. yd. at 1" thick helps provide high resistance to abrasion and wear, with high vibration absorption. It is firm, which means it is rated to require 13 pounds per square inch (psi) of pressure to achieve 10% deflection. A tensile strength of 400 psi helps provide resistance to stress and deformation. It meets the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J314 standard for industrial felt.
