Product Description
The grade F1 white adhesive-backed felt sheet is made of minimum 95% wool and is an extra-firm, high-density fabric commonly used for sealing, cushioning, polishing, and wicking. The sheet has an adhesive backing for surface mounting and is rated for use in temperatures ranging from 30 to 150 degrees F. A density of 16 lb./sq. yd. at 1" thick helps provide high resistance to abrasion and wear, with high vibration absorption. It is extra firm, which means it is rated to require 21 pounds per square inch (psi) of pressure to achieve 10% deflection. A tensile strength of 500 psi helps provide high resistance to stress and deformation. It meets the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J314 standard for industrial felt.
