Product Description

The Precision Twist EB3304M series of end mills are a regular length, ball nose, four flutes are made of carbide with a bright finish is used for high speed machining of curved surfaces and best performance in steel and cast iron.

Ball nose end mills have a smooth geometry of the cutting tip, which facilitates lower cutting forces, giving the cutter added strength under pressure. They can also produce radii in the bottom of slots or pockets for added strength, reducing stress concentrations.

Four flutes have the highest rigidity, the largest section area and a small chip space. They also give the best surface finish and are recommended for profiling, side milling and shallow slotting.

End mills are tools with cutting teeth on the sides and on one (single ended) or both ends (doubled ended). The teeth may be parallel to the axis of rotation or helical, and commonly are called spiral end mills. The shape of the end might be square or round. Some end mills are center cutting, which allow for boring into a work piece like a drill bit.
