The Parker Pargrip GBMT-222 tube fitting is made of perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and has tube and National Pipe Taper (NPT) connectors. This is a branch tee with female connections on the two straight ends and a male connection on the branch. It connects to pipes or tubing on two ends and an NPT male connector on the other. Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) is chemically inert, has high strength, and can be used at a higher working temperature than most plastics. This fitting is suitable for use in corrosive environments and for chemical applications. It uses imperial unit measurements for industry consistency.
Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. Push-to-connect compression fittings do not require tools or sealants, and are useful in installations where a heat source, such as a soldering torch, is prohibited. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).
