Product Description

The thermocouple analog modules provide a single channel of optically isolated temperature-to-digital conversion. The modules offer wide nominal input and special over/under range capabilities. The "T" module also includes 4000 Vrms transient channel-to-channel isolation which eliminates any ground loop problems. Modules plug into a Classic standard analog I/O rack and are secured by a captive screw. Thermocouple type: R or S. Nominal temperature range: 0 Degree C to 960 Degree C or 0 Degree C to 1034 degree C. Over/under range capability: -50 Degree C to 1768 Degree C or -50 Degree C to 1768 degree C. Average resolution: 0.23 degree C (200 to 960 degree C), 0.35 degree C (960 to 1768 degree C) or 0.25 degree C (200 to 1034 Degree C), 0.48 degree C (1034 to 1768 Degree C). Accuracy: +/- 5 Degree C (200 to 960 degree C), +/- 3.5 Degree C (960 to 1768 Degree C) or +/- 5.2 Degree C (200 to 1034 Degree C), +/- 4.2 Degree C (1034 to 1768 degree C). Repeatability: +/- 2.5 Degree C (200 to 960 degree C), +/- 1.8 degree C (960 to 1768 degree C) or +/- 2.6 degree C (200 to 1034 degree C), +/- 2.1 degree C (1034 to 1768 degree C). Power Requirements: 30 mA at +15 VDC, 30 mA at -15 VDC. Isolation: 4000 Vrms (Transient) Input-to-Output, 4000 Vrms Input-to-Analog Supply. Cold junction compensated: yes. Open thermocouple detection: yes. Input response time: 5 percent of scale change in 8.5 ms, 63 percent of scale change in 165 ms. Ambient temperature: 0 Degree C to 70 degree C; -25 degree to 85 degree C. Resolution: 12 bits.
