This 1-liter polycarbonate culture vessel has two shoulder access ports with white polypropylene closures a Teflon TFE stir bar and a polypropylene/TFE stirring assembly. Lightweight and break-resistant it is excellent for use on a magnetic stir plate for small-volume scale-up applications. Specially designed for efficient top-to-bottom mixing at low speed and low shear the autoclavable vessel is leakproof and complies with USP Class VI requirements. Two magnetic stir bars are included: small (bacteria) and large (mammalian cells). The impeller height is adjustable. Material: polycarbonate with white polypropylene closures Teflon TFE stir bar and polypropylene/TFE stirring assembly. Working capacity: 1 Liter. Top closure diameter: 63mm.
