Product Description
The Murray DB series stainless steel worm gear clamp has a stainless steel band and housing, a zinc-plated steel screw, and a dual bead liner for use with air and coolant systems. A worm gear mechanism adjusts the clamp’s diameter to precisely apply sealing pressure. The clamp’s inner liner covers the band serrations to help prevent hose damage and has dual beads that help provide a strong seal. The band and housing are made of stainless steel that provides resistance to scaling and corrosion. The slotted, 5/16” hex-head screw allows installation using a blade screwdriver, nut driver, or socket wrench. The screw is made of carbon steel that is zinc-plated for resistance to rust. The clamp is recommended for an installation torque of 30 to 40 inch-pounds, with a maximum torque of 50 inch-pounds.
