The Mitutoyo MTI176-809A TM-510 Toolmaker's compound microscope with monocular head, 30X total magnification, and tungsten illumination creates two-dimensional images for inspecting and measuring dimensions and angles of machined metals. This microscope has a monocular viewing head with a 30-degree depression angle and diopter, an eyepiece with a built-in vernier protractor, and a 90-degree broken cross-hair reticle for measuring angles. The eyepiece protractor has a range of 360 degrees and graduations in 1-degree increments. It accommodates interchangeable reticles (sold separately). The 15X eyepiece with 2X lens objective has a working distance of 2.638" (67 mm) for 30x total magnification of images. Two 2-watt tungsten bulbs provide transmitted and reflected illumination from below, each with adjustable light intensity for hot, bright light. The lower bulb has a GIF (green) filter. The rectangular mechanical stage measures 4" x 2" (100 mm x 50 mm), provides left-to-right movement, and includes micrometer heads for recording coordinate data. Data can be output to a statistical processing tool for analysis.
