This Hydrion fungistatic and bacteriostatic agent is highly effective and recognized. It provides long-term protection for buffer solution without affecting pH value at 1:1000 dilution. The preservative contains an automatic identifying colorant that tints neutral solutions green, acid solutions red-orange, and basic solutions blue. Tinting helps prevent confusion of buffer solutions with other working solutions, and distinguishes between buffer solutions of different pH values.
