This Micro Essential Hydrion buffer calibration set has a pH range of 4.5 to 7.5. This set includes ten Hydrion buffer capsules which make 100mL buffer standard solutions for each pH interval on the color chart. Hydrion buffer standards are directly traceable to NIST standards. Once prepared, the buffer solution has a shelf life of three weeks, when stored in an airtight vessel. A quality control test procedure for test papers should include periodic testing with prepared buffer solutions. Simply dip the test paper into the buffer standard and compare to the color chart.
