Mettler Toledo International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) Class E2 weight includes a calibration certificate, and is designed for use as a third weight with the Mettler Toledo ASTM CarePac (sold separately). The weight is constructed of polished stainless steel for stability, resistance to corrosion, and low magnetic susceptibility, and a polished surface highlights wear that can affect weight precision. The weight includes a storage container that fits inside the Mettler Toledo CarePac, and a calibration certificate to ensure traceability. The weight meets OIML R111 Class E2 standards for use as a reference standard calibrating other weights, and calibrating high precision analytical balances with readabilities as low as 0.1mg to 0.01mg.
