The Megger WM6 insulation resistance tester measures insulation resistance and continuity in domestic and industrial wiring, generators, transformers, cables, and other electrical systems. This analog meter has manual range selection for flexibility of use. The unit is powered by a low-voltage, hand-cranked, brushless AC generator, eliminating the need for batteries. The unit measures insulation resistance from 0 to 200 megaohms and continuity from 0 to 100 ohms. The 500V direct current (DC) test voltage is used to confirm the safety compliance of 415/240V alternating current (AC) wiring installations. The WM6 is commonly used by electricians, electrical contractors, and telecommunications workers.
