Product Description

Self-setting digital clock with indoor and outdoor temperature also features alarm with snooze option and low battery indicator for both clock and wireless sensor. Time sets to specified time zone and will automatically reset for daylight saving time. Outdoor temperature receives from wireless transmitting sensor within a range of 260 feet from clock. Optional for wall hanging or self-standing.

The nature of Earth’s Ionosphere; reception is very limited during daylight hours. The ionosphere is higher at night so the signal wave is long and travels better. That’s why we recommend placing the display on a window facing Ft. Collins, Colorado to help assist in getting the signal.

1. Use Fresh batteries
2. Place display on a window facing Ft. Collins, Co
3. Select correct time zone
4. DST is set to ON.
5. Allow 3-5 nights for the Atomic time to update

To avoid interference place the display at least 3 to 6 feet away from Refrigerators, air conditioners, household appliances or other devices with electric motors.

  • Remove batteries from the sensor and batteries (and/or a/c cord) from the display.

  • With the power removed, press one of the buttons on the display at least 20 times to clear all memory. Please do this even if the display is blank to remove any random electricity. Verify the display is blank.

  • It is important with most of our displays to remain without power for at least 15 minutes.

  • NOTE:
  • Failure to allow a display to rest for 15 minutes can result in failure to connect with the outdoor sensor or missing segment on the display. The instruction manual describes a setup for a new unit that has not had time to build up residual electricity.

  • Please be sure you are using fresh batteries testing to a minimum of1.48, on a voltmeter that reads in numbers.

  • Place batteries into the outdoor sensor first. Make sure they are installed according to the diagrams in the battery compartment. Exterior walls and obstructions will reduce the transmission range. An obstruction would include anything that is between the light of sight, like a roof, walls, floors, ceilings, trees, etc. Mount the sensor vertically in a sheltered area out of the sun and direct rain. Fog and mist will not affect the sensor but a soaking in water may. Such as Mounting the sensor outside under an eve of a house, under a deck rail or any suitable place that will keep it out of the sun and rain

  • Install batteries (or a/c cord) into the display according to the diagram in the battery compartment.

  • Allow the sensor and display to remain 5 feet apart for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. Do not press buttons at this time. You should see a reading on the outdoor temperature area in the first minute.
