Krud Kutter Paint Prep Rust Remover Gel removes rust from metal prior to painting. The proprietary formulation into every void of metal dissolves rust and oxidation through chemical action. Cleaning time will vary according to the severity of rust. Medium to light rust will be dissolved in ten minutes or less, while heavier deposits may require a second application. Recommended for cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized, chrome and brass. Clings longer to remove rust from Vertical surfaces. Unique gel formula is ideal for vertical surfaces, and clings to substrate to enable rust removing crystals to attack and dissolve rust. Paint Prep Rust Remover is ideal for painting. Once the rust is dissolved, rinse or wipe the surface, and wait one hour before painting. Rust remover gel provides a clean surface free of contaminants, which creates a secure bond for any primer, paint, coating etc, and enhances performance of paint. Easy to apply, simply spray, brush, sponge, dip.
