The Kleenguard A65 flame resistant fabric coverall is a blue disposable single-piece protective coverall garment made with a breathable, cellulosic, and polyester spunlace material treated with flame retardant to help protect skin and clothing from damage caused by sparks resulting from welding, grinding, or other activities. The breathable fabric allows heat and moisture to escape for comfort. This coverall features an attached hood with an elastic face opening to cover the wearer's head and neck, and attached boots made of the garment material that completely cover the wearer's feet. It has elastic cuffs for tight fit at the wrists and ankles, and a front zipper to facilitate donning. The coverall material passes National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 701 test of flame propagation of textiles and films (1989 edition), meets NFPA 99: Health Care Facilities Code criteria for antistatic materials, and complies with the flame resistance requirements cited by paragraph 6.1 of Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) CAN/CGSB-155.20-2000 (Workwear for Protection Against Hydrocarbon Flash Fire). It meets the ANSI/ISEA (American National Standards Institute/International Safety Equipment Association) 101-1996 standard, which provides requirements for the performance, size dimensions, labeling, and packaging of limited-use and disposable coveralls.
Coveralls, also known as boilersuits, are single-piece protective garments with full length legs and sleeves. Coveralls come in a range of protection levels, from light-duty suits worn over street clothes to keep them clean while working, to heavy-duty hazmat suits that protect the wearer from toxic liquids, gases, and airborne particles. Less protective suits are made of breathable fabric, and can weigh less and feel less restrictive than heavy-duty suits. More protective suits are made of fabrics impervious to gases and water vapor, and include hoods, attached boot covers, taped seams, all features which can lead to discomfort or heat stress if worn for extended periods. Protective coveralls are commonly used in applications such as paint spraying, mold remediation, environmental cleanup, and fiberglass installation.
