Product Description

This Kimble Kimax Boston round media bottle has a borosilicate glass body, a polypropylene screw cap, and a silicone cap liner with a PTFE facing. This media bottle is used to hold samples and for storage, mixing, and sampling applications. The borosilicate glass body provides chemical, thermal expansion, shock, and heat resistance. Its Boston round shape is used for applications that require a rounded body, short neck, and narrow mouth to store liquid samples, solvents, and chemicals, and dry materials.

This lab bottle has an autoclavable, polypropylene screw cap to secure contents and help prevent spills and evaporation. A silicone cap liner helps seal the closure. An additional PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) facing resists many chemicals, moisture, and temperatures ranging from -400 to 500 degrees F. This lab bottle has a marking area to label for security and accountability, and it is graduated for measured dispensing and storing. The borosilicate glass conforms to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E 438 Type I, Class B requirements for glass containers. This bottle is suitable for use in general purpose mixing, storing, and sampling applications.
