Product Description
ShortSlugger annular cutters achieve the lowest cost per hole by eliminating secondary operations such as pre-drilling and reaming. Slugger cutters only remove the outside of the hole which reduces cycle time, allowing the operator to produce holes 3-5 times faster than conventional twist drills which convert the entire hole into chips. Slugger cutters produce "slugs" at the end of the hole making process. ShortSluggers are great for applications that do not require a full 1" depth of cut. With the use of arbor adapters, ShortSluggers can be used in either mag drills with 3/4" annular shank holders or in 1/2" chuck drill presses which greatly increases the capacity of stationary drilling machines.
