The Hanna Instruments BL 983322-1 panel-mounted conductivity controller and indicator has automatic temperature compensation (ATC), automatic or manual dosing modes, an overtime control system, and an LED screen. ATC helps to increase accuracy of readings and eliminates the need for additional calculations. The overtime control system, which helps prevent overdosage, can be set for 5 to 30 minutes. If the relay runs longer than the specified time, it notifies the user and shuts off. The multi-color LED display confirms automatic or manual dosing mode, and whether the controller has exceeded the time limit. The controller has single-point calibrations and is cased in fire retardant acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic. It comes with two plastic mounting brackets. This controller is commonly used for laboratory applications, including water conditioning.
Measurement range is 0.00 to 19.99 us/cm, resolution is 0.01 us/cm, and accuracy is + or – 2% f.s. at 20 degrees C/68 degrees F. ATC operates from 5 to 50 degrees C/41 to 122 degrees F. The controller measures 83 x 53 x 99mm/3.3 x 2.1 x 3.9 inches (H x W x D), and it weighs 300g (10.6oz). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The controller requires the HI 7634-00 EC/TDS probe (sold separately), and operates on 115/230 Vac; 50/60 Hz power supply.
