The HI 931101 is a portable, water-resistant instrument that uses a combination sodium electrode to provide sodium readings, and is suitable for lab or field use. The FC 300B combination sodium electrode provides sodium readings from 15.0 mg/L to 60 g/L, and the HI 7662 temperature probe provides temperature readings from 0 to 80 degrees C. Both the FC 300B and HI 7662 are sold separately. One- or two-point calibration is automatic at 2.3 g/L and either 0.23 g/L (low range) or 23.0 g/L (high range). If batteries become weak, the dual-LCD display will notify the user.
Range is 0.00 to 3.00 pNa; 15.0 to 150.0 mg/L Na; and 0.150 to 1.500; 1.50 to 15.00; 15.0 to 60.0 g/L Na + or – 0.05 pNa; 5% of reading (Na) at 20 degrees C, with resolutions of 0.01 pNa; 0.1 mg/L Na; and 0.001; 0.01; 0.1; 1 g/L Na.
