Product Description
The grade F50 white felt sheet is made of minimum 95% wool and is an extra-firm, high-density fabric commonly used for mechanical applications. Grade F50 felt is similar to grade F1 but is for felt less than 1/8" thick. The sheet is rated for use in temperatures ranging from -80 to +200 degrees F. A density of 16 lb./sq. yd. at 1" thick helps provide high resistance to abrasion and wear, with high vibration absorption. It is extra firm, which means it is rated to require 21 pounds per square inch (psi) of pressure to achieve 10% deflection. A tensile strength of 500 psi helps provide high resistance to stress and deformation. It meets the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J314 standard for industrial felt.
