Product Description
This 1926V profile variable speed cogged V-belt is 1.2” wide, is built by Goodyear Engineered Products for 26 degree angle pulleys, and is suitable for variable-speed sheave drives requiring exact speed control with a broad range of speed changes, such as exercise, farm, and power equipment. Its milled-edge construction provides dimensional stability, decreasing elongation, and Flexten tension members add synthetic reinforcement for tensile strength. It is oil, heat, ozone, and abrasion resistant, making it suitable for use in abusive environments, including outdoors.
The variable speed belt is built with Flexten tension members, a synthetic reinforcement that increases tensile strength and reduces initial elongation by 50 percent to maintain dimensional stability so that drive performance is consistent over the life of the belt. It is suitable for high horsepower drives that require more tension and increased resistance to shock loads. The belt is static conductive, making it appropriate in the presence of explosive gases, liquids, powders, and other substances where the possibility of static sparks must be kept to a minimum.
Variable speed belts are designed for operating at multiple speeds that may change quickly, such as on recreational equipment, agricultural applications, and machine tools. They are constructed to withstand oily, dirt-filled operational environments and the heat of the outdoors, and are able to withstand abusive environments such as farming and manufacturing.
