Product Description

The Frey Scientific 1324333 Advanced Ceramic Top Hot Plate has a one-piece ceramic top and a microprocessor control for heating glassware and contents to between 5 to 500 degrees C, includes a four-inch square hot plate with a chemical-resistant, easy-to-clean, reflective white surface, and has an illuminated LED digital display, a built-in support rod holder with locking knob, a heat-resistant polymer body, and a two-year warranty. Hot plates are used to heat glassware and contents in laboratories.

This hot plate is housed in a heat-resistant polymer body that stays cool to the touch and channels fluids away from internal components. An LED display with built-in memory recalls the last set temperature, and a temperature knob adjusts the setpoint. A caution indicator light illuminates when heat is turned on and remains on until top plate cools down. The built-in support rod holder with locking knob at rear holds a standard threaded support rod to suspend instrumentation such as clamps and probes.
