Traditional beech handle chisels are re-enforced at the bolster with a brass ring to prevent splitting. Designed primarily for hand use, they may be struck with a mallet. Blades are heat treated to within 1" of the bolster to maintain a beautiful edge, and ensure a long bench life. Blades are fully machined on all faces and are finish honed to 30 degrees, ready for use. Each chisel come complete with a plastic tip guard to protect the blade and the user.
