The Oakton Eutech WD-53405-00, DO 2000, advanced dissolved oxygen controller has a 1/2 DIN-sized housing, works with 80-250V AC, and has a choice of on/off, proportional pulse length, or proportional pulse frequency control types. A dissolved oxygen (DO) controller/transmitter is used for water treatment and monitoring, galvanic decontamination, chemical and food processing, neutralization processes, and for clean or waste water control in aquaculture. This controller features an adjustable, backlit, UV-protected, dual LCD for simultaneous display of DO and temperature compensation, and clear mode and function annunciators. It has a selectable readout, and ATC for ease of use. It has push-button calibration for ease of use, and a choice of on/off, proportional pulse length, or pulse frequency for a variety of control types. Its 1/2-DIN sized housing fits into standard-sized panel cutouts and includes mounting hardware for ease of use and installation. The relays feature a 0 to 2000 second time delay adjustment to minimize false alarms. The controller has two-level password protection with four-digit password lockout for security. The first level gives calibration access and the second level is to set-up for parameter changes. It has a wash function, an alarm relay, and separately adjustable high and low set point hysteresis bands to control relay actions. The controller has removable power blocks on its back for flexible power supply, and has temperature input and cold contact single pole double throw (SPDT) relay terminals. It has a splash-resistant, Ingress Protection (IP) 66-rated housing, for protection against solid objects or liquids, and has audible clicks to confirm button-pressing.
The WD-53405-00 controller measures DO and temperature. It has an ambient temperature operating range of 0 to 40 degrees C, and maximum relative humidity 80% up to 31 degrees C, decreasing linearly to 50% at 40 degrees C. Its DO range is 0.00 to 25.00 mg/l or 0.00 to 25.00 ppm or 00.0 to 300.0% saturation, resolution 0.01 mg/l or 0.01 ppm or 0.1%, accuracy 1.5% full-scale reading for all ranges. Temperature range is -10.0 to +125.0 degrees C or +14.0 to +257.0 degrees F, resolution 0.1 degree C or 0.1 degree F, accuracy 0.5 degrees C or 1.0 degrees F. The controller has two galvanically isolated current outputs of 0/4 to 20mA. It has an output pulse length of 0.5 to 20.0 seconds or pulse frequency of 60 to 120 pulses per minute. Hysteresis is 1.0 to 10.0%. Relay delay is selectable at 0 to 2,000 seconds. It has a nonvolatile memory to maintain set-up if power fails, and has protections against electromagnetic interference. The controller’s dimensions are 111.5(d) x 144(w) x 144(h) mm, it weighs 950 g, and it is used with 80 to 250V AC/DC, 50-60 Hz, approximately 10VA.
A controller/transmitter reads parameters, and automatically adjusts the solution to the programmed set points. It is used to monitor and control parameters in process water, wastewater treatment, chemical processes, and aquaculture applications.
