Product Description
Model 5424 microcentrifuge from Eppendorf is easy-to-use and includes a certified aerosol-tight rotor and a unique, contoured rotor bowl design to reduce noise. This model features rotary knobs which provides a quick and easy way to dial in settings for parameter changes. Model 5424 expands its application range by offering optional rotors (see Microcentrifuge Rotors and Parts category) to accommodate microcentrifuge tubes, miniprep spin columns and PCR* tube strips. The rotor handles twenty-four 1.5 to 2.0mL tubes and is certified aerosol-tight. An innovative lid design with an automatic opening at end of run for easy sample removal. It also features a five digit speed display and a molecular grade speed of over 21,000 x g. Other features include: Short Spin Speed Setting; Braking, At Set function and Adjustable Volume Alarm. 120V/60Hz.
