Product Description
This Eppendorf 230 V/50 Hz Personal Mastercycler is used for the optimization of PCR reaction conditions. A freely programmable temperature gradient range of up to 20 degrees C enables the optimization not only of the annealing temperature, but also of all temperature steps of a PCR protocol for even the most demanding applications. Features the utmost flexibility, simple programming: gradient function, adjustable ramp rates, time and temperature increments, incubation mode, in situ mode, link function, pause function, Software-supported in situ Adapter, RS-232 and printer interface, and auto-restart option in the event of a power failure. The entire Mastercycler family incorporates an included (one) personal card system: chip-based memory cards that enable a simple and reliable transfer of your individual protocols between different Mastercycler workstations and ensure unlimited memory expansion. The universal block incorporates an expansive range of different tube types in both the Mastercycler and Mastercycler gradient: use 96 x 0.2mL tubes, 44 x 0.5mL tubes (77 possible with special small capped PCR tubes) or one multiwell PCR plate—without having to change the block. (Practice of the patented polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process requires a license. The Eppendorf Thermal Cycler is an Authorized Thermal Cycler and may be used with PCR licenses available from Applied Biosystems.
