This Eppendorf A-2-MTP 2-place MTP microplate swing-bucket rotor with lid has a maximum rotational speed of 4,680 RPM, a relative centrifugal force of 2,204 x g, and is used with centrifuge models 5430 or 5430 R. It is suitable for use in spinning down plates after reaction setup. It has a 29 mm loading height, which is suitable for all MTP and PCR plates, and accommodates Eppendorf deepwell plates 96/500 and 384/200 (sold separately). It has a windshield design and drop-on lid for reduced noise during centrifugation. This rotor is an accessory for use with Eppendorf centrifuge models 5430 or 5430 R, which spin biological lab samples at high speeds to separate cellular material into component parts. Eppendorf manufactures instruments for cell manipulation, and automated devices for liquid handling, for use in life science research laboratories.
