Product Description
It is slightly cloudy but dries clear. It is formulated to provide good gap filling properties. This cement is good for joining Schedule 40 and 80 PVC pipes. For superior joint use with E-Z Weld Primer, Purple (No.212) or Clear (No. 211). Never add thinner or additive. Always follow instructions on the label. Storage temperature: 45 degree F to 110 degree F. Pipe size 1/2" to 1-1/4": (1) maximum pressure up to 180 psi: 60 to 100 degree F temperature range - 1 hr, 40 to 60 degree F temperature range - 2 hrs, 10 to 40 degree F temperature range - 8 hrs. (2) Maximum pressure 181 to 370 psi: 60 to 100 degree F temperature range - 6 hrs, 40 to 60 degree F temperature range - 12 hrs, 10 to 40 degree F temperature range - 12 hrs. Pipe size 1-1/2" to 3": (1) maximum pressure up to 180 psi: 60 to 100 degree F temperature range - 2 hrs, 40 to 60 degree F temperature range - 4 hrs, 10 to 40 degree F temperature range - 16 hrs. (2) Maximum pressure 181 to 315 psi: 60 to 100 degree F temperature range - 12 hrs, 40 to 60 degree F temperature range - 24 hrs, 10 to 40 degree F temperature range - 96 hrs. Pipe size 3" to 6": (1) maximum pressure up to 180 psi: 60 to 100 degree F temperature range - 6 hrs, 40 to 60 degree F temperature range - 12 hrs, 10 to 40 degree F temperature range - 48 hrs. This product is tested, certified and approved by the NSF International for use on potable water drain, waste and vent system. It is also listed by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. It carries the Uniform Plumbing Code seal. Every batch of cement is carefully checked and monitored to assure consistently high quality standards. Lap Shear: 250 psi after 2 hrs cure time, 500 psi after 16 hrs cure time, 900 psi after 72 hrs cure time. Hydrostatic burst: 400 psi after 2 hrs cure time.
