Product Description
The Dixon HTM series stainless steel hi torque clamp has a series 300 stainless steel band and housing, a stainless steel screw, and clamps with a higher degree of torque than standard clamps for additional sealing pressure and resistance to vibration. A worm gear mechanism adjusts the clamp’s diameter to precisely apply sealing pressure. The band’s 5/8” width provides a greater sealing area than clamps of smaller width. The band, housing, and screw are made of stainless steel that conforms to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 300 series standard and provides resistance to corrosion. The slotted, 5/16” hex-head screw allows installation using a blade screwdriver, nut driver, or socket wrench. The screw is made of SAE 410 low-carbon stainless steel that Is resistant to corrosion and is hardened to prevent breaking. The clamp’s worm gear mechanism helps provide torque over 150 inch-pounds.
