This Dixon 169C series 90-degree elbow compression fitting is made of brass, has a tube connection and a male NPTF connection, and is suitable for indoor air applications. This 90-degree elbow fitting, or "ell," connects tubes at a 90-degree angle to change the direction of flow between two tubes. It has male National Pipe Taper Fuel (NPTF) threads on both ends for connecting to female NPT threaded tubes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability, and is intended for use in low to medium pressure operating environments where there is no excessive vibration or tube movement. It does not require flaring, soldering, or other tube preparation for assembly. This fitting meets Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J512 and American Standards Association (ASA) for functional requirements and is Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) listed for flammable liquid. This 90-degree elbow compression fitting is suitable for indoor air applications.
