Continental ContiTech V-Belt, Rubber, Inch, B Cross Section, 0.66" Width

The ContiTech classic B cross section V-belt is 0.66" wide and 0.44" high, and is suitable for use in V-flat drives. Polyester tension members increase tensile strength and reduce elongation to maintain dimensional stability so that drive performance is consistent over the life of the belt. This belt is made from natural rubber and has a fiber jacket to make it oil and dust resistant, static conductive, and give it an operating temperature range of -67 to 158 degrees F. This V-belt meets DIN 2215 (Deutsches Institut für Normung) and ISO 1813 (International Standard Organization) for quality assurance, making it appropriate for use in the presence of explosive gases, liquids, powders, and other substances. This ContiTech V-belt is suitable for use in ventilation fans, mining operations, cement plants, agricultural applications, and machine tools.

Traditional classical belts are designed for operating at higher speeds over small diameter pulleys and short-center distances. They can be used in multiple V-belt drives and are used frequently in farming and manufacturing environments. They are constructed to withstand the heat of the outdoors and oily, dirt-filled manufacturing environments.
