The Oreck Commercial U2000R upright vacuum cleaner has a 4-amp motor, a 12" cleaning path, and a Helping Hand handle, and is better suited for cleaning carpets than typical canister vacuums and takes up less space for storage. An automatic floor adjustment enables the vacuum to move between carpets and hard surfaces without changes to manual settings. The Helping Hand handle has received an Ease-of-Use Commendation from the Arthritis Foundation. The on/off switch is located in the handgrip for convenience. The handle drops down flat for cleaning under furniture and for storing. Two brush rolls turn at 6,500 revolutions per minute (RPM) to loosen debris from carpets and move it toward the vacuum inlet for cleaning. A top-fill system helps prevent clogging at the intake. Wraparound bumpers help prevent damage to walls and doorways. A 40-foot power cord enables the vacuum to cover a larger area without changing outlets than vacuums with shorter cords. A cord guard helps prevent damage to cord. The vacuum is 48" high, weighs eight pounds, and has a capacity of 630 cubic inches.
