Product Description

This Schott cylindrical media bottle has a borosilicate glass body, a screw neck opening that accommodates standard-sized threaded caps, and a marking area. This media bottle is used to hold samples and for storage, mixing, and sampling applications. The borosilicate glass body provides chemical, thermal expansion, shock, and heat resistance. Its cylindrical shape is used for a wide variety of applications that require solution containment. The screw neck opening accommodates standard-sized threaded caps (sold separately).

This lab bottle has a marking area to label for security and accountability, and it is graduated for measured dispensing and storing. A horizontal glass bead around the neck of the bottle indicates the full capacity for 100mL through 2L-sized bottles. A printed eight-digit retrace code and corresponding article number provide the ability to find the batch and quality certificate of each bottle for quality assurance. The bottle is autoclavable for applications that require sterilization. The borosilicate glass conforms to United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) Type I requirements. This bottle is suitable for mixing and storing samples, reagents, culture media, biological fluids, and other liquids.
