This Bunting Bearings BB-16 powdered metal thrust washer supports high axial loads. It is made of sintered BB-16 powdered metal for strength and resistance to wear and shock. The bearing material is impregnated with an extreme pressure oil to provide a lubricating film over the entire bearing surface. The bearing has a maximum load value of 8,000 psi (pounds per square inch), a maximum velocity value of 35 sfpm (surface feet per minute), and a maximum pressure velocity (PV) value of 75,000. It operates over a temperature range of 10 to 220 degrees F (-12 to 104 degrees C). Plain bearings provide low-friction sliding contact for relative motion between parts of a machine.
