This 5-gallon (19L), 120V DPCH Series extra heavy duty heater is made for poly (non-metal) drums and pails. It is the longest lasting and most durable drum heater. The patented 360° grounded multi-stranded heating element is laminated between three extra thick layers of 20mil fiberglass-reinforced silicone rubber for ultimate strength and durability. The heating element is uniformily placed to maximize heat distribution and meets NEC 427.23. It is moisture and chemical resistant, with a spring closure that can be expanded 3in (76mm). The adjustable thermostat has a range of 50 to 160°F (10 to 71°C) for poly (non-metal) drums or pails. The maximum exposure temperature on the heating surface is 450°F (232°C).
