Brady 80753B/80753 bradyglo high performance photoluminescent exit sign. These safety signs are visible in total blackout or heavy smoke conditions and do not require any additional electricity to operate - which saves on energy cost. Photoluminescent exit signs have the ability to earn leed points with energy efficient products and are also compliant with all current building codes (2009 IBC, NFPA 101). Aditionally, glow in the dark exit signs are easy to install, low in cost. Legend is "EXIT", white color, size is 8" height, 15" width. Special features are non-electric, wall mounted. Material is B-355 glow-in-the-dark bradyglo photoluminescent. Brady B-355 bradyglo high performance photoluminescent exit signs are steel encased glow-in-the-dark plastic panels. Brady B-355 exit signs are non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-radioactive, and non-electric, requiring no electrical wiring or batteries (does not generate energy to induce explosions). The signs are intended for indoor use only. Relevant standard is compliant to NFPA life safety code 101 and OSHA 1910. Exceeds UL924 requirements for upper and lower service temperature limits and humidity resistance. Illuminescent characteristic is a minimum of 1 hour of 54 lux of unfiltered fluorescent light exposure is required on the sign face at all times during building occupancy. After 60 minutes of 54 lux exposure, the sign is 100 percent charged and will continue to glow for 50 to 60 continuous hours when charged with fluorescent, metal halide or mercury vapor lamps. Consistent glow life and unlimited rechargability throughout service life. Legend color is high visibility green. Letter size is 0.875", 7.0". Service life is 25+ years of maintainance free operation.
